DISTRIBUTED FOOD AID TO 150 VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE

World White Cane Day, which began in 1921, is celebrated every year on October 15, the day on which the visually impaired people express their views to the government and the public.

Ochir Undraa OMZ NBFI has been supporting challenging social projects and programs and we provided FOOD ASSISTANCE to 150 elderly and visually impaired people on the occasion

of its 40th anniversary of Mongolian National Association of the Blind and 10th anniversary of our establishment.

There are about 16,000 blind people in our country, and more than 90 percent of them live in extreme poverty due to the lack of suitable jobs and living in extremely poor living conditions.  Only monthly income they have is welfare benefits equals to MNT 155,000.
